Not enabled: Cryptocurrency and anonymous online payments are not included in this release. They create additional source, valuation, identity and recordkeeping issues that require separate legal and treasurer review.

Why payment cannot bypass the campaign form

The campaign must screen prohibited sources, monitor applicable limits, preserve contribution records, collect contributor information when required, maintain separation from personal funds and provide a clear committee disclaimer. Campaign merchandise purchases also count as contributions in the full amount paid.
